Children, the elderly and people with some pre-existing medical conditions, are more vulnerable to serious complications from the flu. Children can receive the flu vaccine from the age of six months, and this year, four different influenza vaccine brands are being supplied under the Program for people aged under 65 and an enhanced vaccine is being supplied for those aged 65 years and over.
Free flu vaccines are available to the following groups:
People aged 65 years and over
Children under 5 years old
Aboriginal people
Medically at risk groups

PLEASE NOTE : If you do not fall into any of the eligible FREE groups , then to receive a Flu vaccination a $15 fee applies.
